Karpooradi Choornam is an Ayurvedic medicine which is used for treating upper respiratory tract infections. It is prepared from medicinal herbs such as karpoor, jaiphal, dalchini, elaichi, jeera etc which are good for respiratory as well as digestive problems. This medicine can be taken twice a day in large doses or in smaller doses throughout the day.

Cinnamomum camphora, Myristica malabarica, Cedrus deodara,Glycyrrhiza glabra, Miristica fragrans, Black Antimony, Zingiber officinale, Trachispermum roxburghianum, Cuminum cyminum, Elettaria cardamomum, Piper cubeba, Gynandropsis gynandra, Piper longum, Tinospora cordifolia, Symplocos racemosa, Piper nigrum, Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Anacyclus pyrethrum, Syzygium aromaticum, Cyperus rotundus, Vetveria zizanioides, Cissampelos pareira, Saussurea lappa, Alpinia calcarata, Flacourtia jangomas, Coleus vettiveroides
Uses of Karpooradi Choornam
- Cough, cold, chest congestion, sneezing, hoarseness of voice
- Bronchitis, asthma
- Indigestion, anorexia
- Loss of appetite, nausea
The Dosage of Karpooradi Choornam
5-10 gm with honey twice a day or as directed by physician.
