Drinking water during all season is very important even in winters. In winters also we should drink 6-8 glass of water otherwise it may cause health problems.
Winter is a season when we love to drink tea, coffee and take fat rich foods but forget to drink water and take it occasionally when we feel thirsty or when mild dehydration has already occurred.
This reduction in water intake results in many health problems. You may also notice by yourself why some problems trouble you more in winters. Some of the problems are like
Health problems due to lack of water in winters
- Central obesity
- Increased heart rate
- Dry skin
- Numbness and tingling in arms and legs
Water also helps in better digestion of food and also makes our brain more attentive. Water helps in better dissolution of LDL( Low Density Lipid Protein or good cholesterol) in blood so when water is less this does not happen and result is central obesity and more fat in our body.
So it is very important to maintain our water intake during winters at at least around 6- 7 glasses so that our body remain hydrated and we remain healthy.
