Every one takes care of having good diet after workout but many time we are ignoring needs of diet before workout. But it is important to eat before workout.
Eating something before work out depends when you are doing exercise and what kind of exercise you are planning to do.
Workout timing and diet
- If you want to do jogging of 3+ km in early morning(6 am) then one orange or some citrus fruit will be good.
- If you are planning to do a jogging of 10+ km on Sunday then you should take good diet on Saturday night.
- Food should be very light before workout and it should be less fat and less calorie.
- Never eat lot of food before exercise otherwise you will feel tired. But don’t do any exercise empty stomach because it will lead to muscle weakness.
- Drink a lot of water before (1-2 hour) starting exercise. If you are doing exercise in morning then drink 1-2 glass water first after wake up in morning.
- Eat protein rich food before workout.
What to eat before doing exercise
- Eat one apple with 5-6 soaked almonds
- Almond with curd
- Small bowl sprout
- Milk with corn flex
- Dry fruit and fruits
- 1 cup oat meal
- 1 cup boiled vegetable
- Banana and other fruits
