Key Ingredients of Hingu Triguna taila

Hingu (Asafoetida) 10 grams

Asafoetida has digestive, carminative, antihelminthic, antispasmodic, analgesic, emmenagogue, expectorant and anti-rheumatic properties. It is stomachic, laxative, analgesic, and reduces swelling.

Eranda tailam (castor oil) Ricinus communis Linn. 90 grams

Castor oil is a laxative and anti-rheumatic in action. It cures constipation and excess gas. It also reduces joint swelling and joint pain. It helps body to get rid of toxins.

Saindhava lavanam Rock salt 30 grams

Rock salt is carminative, digestive, cooling and aphrodisiac in action. It reduces chronic joint inflammation, and joint pain in disorders such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Rasona (Allium sativum Linn.) Garlic juice 270 grams

Garlic is carminative and gastric stimulant. It reduces swelling and improves appetite.

Uses of Hingu Triguna taila

Hingu triguna Tailam is stomachic, digestive and purgative. This medicated oil is hot and penetrative. It stimulate appetite and improves digestion.

Hingu Triguna taila disintegrates the Ama in the tissues and joints. This formulation has beneficial effect in improving digestion and elimination of toxins from the body.

This oil has immunomodulatory, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and digestion stimulating properties.

This medicated oil is indicated internally for treating bloating, gaseous distention, acid peptic diseases, chronic constipation, intestinal colic and internal obstructions. Hingu Triguna tailam has laxative, digestive, appetizer, anthelmintic and anti-inflammatory properties.

In gout, arthritis, rheumatism, the internal administration of this oil reduces the intensity of inflammation.

The Dosage of Hingu Triguna taila

If given on empty stomach relieves constipation. The dose is 2 teaspoons once a day on empty stomach with a cup of hot water. This sets-in bowel movement.

As this medicine contains salt, so people on low sodium diet, take it cautiously.
