1 part of Each: Ushira root, Vasa root, Tejpatra leaves, Kustha root, Amla fruit, Musali root, Ela seed, Renuka seed, Draksha dried fruits, kunkuma, Nagkeshara, Kamal or Padma Kand root tuber, Karpura, Sweta Chandan wood, Rakta chanda wood, Sonth, Kali Mirch, Pippali, Honey, Laja seed, Ashwagandha root, Shatavari root, Gokhru fruit, Atmagupta seed, Jatiphala seed, Kankola fruit, Coraka root

And 1 part Each: Rasa Sindura, Abhraka Bhasma, Vanga Bhasma

Uses of Guduchyadi Modak

Guduchyadi Modak is a combination of natural ingredients that are useful in treating various types of the urinary diseases. It is a useful medicine to treat Mutraghata or Urinary obstruction. Urinary obstruction or Urinary blockage is, blockage of the flow of urine out of the body. It is a common cause of acute and chronic renal failure and may result from a wide variety of pathologic processes. This medicine is also indicated in Mutra krichra or dysuria. Dysuria means difficult or painful urination.

Guduchyadi Modak is useful in the treatment of Somaroga (Polyuria in females). Polyuria is a condition usually defined as excessive or abnormally large production or passage of urine (at least 2.5 or 3 L over 24 hours in adults).

The other diseases in which this medicine is used are Burning sensation of feet, Phthisis (pulmonary tuberculosis or a similar progressive wasting disease), Menorrhagia or Metrorrhagia or both, Raktapitta (Bleeding disorder).

Guduchyadi Modak is a Rasyana drug. It nourishes the body and mind and has adapto-immuno-neuroendocrino-modulator properties.

The Dosage of Guduchyadi Modak

The recommended dosage of Guduchyadi Modak is 6-12 grams twice a day. Take this medicine with Ghee, Honey or Sugar candy or as directed by a physician.
