Chavikasavam is an Ayurvedic medicine which is used for treating digestive disorders and gulm. It is prepared from medicinal herbs which are well-known in Ayurveda for treating digestive system and abdominal diseases.

Ingredients of Chavikasavam

Chavya Piper chaba, Plumbago zeylanica, Ferula asafoetida, Inula recemosa, Piper longum roots, Juniperus communis, Hedychium spicatum, Trichosanthes dioica, Terminalla chebula, Terminalia belerica, Emblica officinalis, Trachyspermum ammi, Holarrhena antidysenterica, Citrullus colocynthis, Coriandrum sativum, Plucfhea lanceolata,,Baliospermum montanum, Embelia ribes,  Cyperus rotundus,  Cedrus deodara,  Zingiber officinale,   Piper nigrum,  Piper longum, Elettaria cardamomum, Woodifordiafruticosa, Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Cinnamomum tamala, Mesua ferrea,  Syzygium aromaticum, Zingiber officinale, Piper nigrum, Piper longum, jaggery

Uses of Chavikasavam

  • Digestive disorders
  • Anemia
  • Gulm or abdominal tumor

The Dosage of Chavikasavam

1-2 tablespoon with water after meals twice a day or as directed by a physician.
This medicine is also known as Chavikasava.
