Cardimap Tablets is an Ayurvedic herbal medicine, which is very effective for conditions like hypertension, anxiety, tension, insomnia, significantly. It is made with combination of several Herbs which are known as anti-hypertension, ant-anxiety drugs and used to treat various neurological disorders.

Active Ingredients:

  • Sarpagandha (Rauwolfia serpentine)
  • Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi)
  • Shankhpushpi (Convolvulus pluricautis)
  • Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri)
  • Pippali (piper longum).

Sarpagandha has blood pressure lowering, sedative and central nervous system stimulating activities.

Jatamansi ( Nardostachys jatamansi): In Ayurveda, the root powder of Jatamansi is used as neuroprotective, stimulant, antispasmodic, antipyretic, and antioxidant. It is recommended for the treatment of various neuropsychiatric illnesses and excessive thirst.

Brahmi ( Bacopa monnieri): In India, Brahmi is used for centuries to improve mental health, intellect and memory. It is a highly effective brain tonic. In Ayurveda, Brahmi is classified as medhya Rasayana (improves mental health, intellect and memory;Rasayana that prevents aging and gives longevity). Brahmi or Bacopa is bitter in taste and has laxative, astringent, brain Tonic, memory enhancing, and longevity promoting properties. It is indicated in the treatment of various diseases such as mental retardation, poor memory, epilepsy, insanity and neuroses, anemia, leprosy, renal disease, blood disease, poisoning and cough.

Shankhpushpi ( Convolvulus pluricaulis): Shankhpushpi is a brain tonic that effectively treats nervine disorders, mental aberration, anxiety neurosis, internal haemorrhages, spermatorrhoea and numerous other diseases. It has an astringent, antidysenteric, antispasmodic, antiphlogistic, febrifuge, and alterative properties.
It is believed that Shankhpushpi calms the nerves by regulating the body’s production of the stress hormones, adrenaline, and cortisol.

Pippali: Long pepper is antioxidant, decongestant, carminative, expectorant, warming, analgesic, and detoxifier. Long pepper(pippali) is used in many Ayurvedic medicines to treat various health problems. It is one of the three ingredient in Trikatu churna which is used to treat dyspepsia and improving gastric function. Long pepper is used to treat a variety of conditions like asthma, bronchitis, cough, digestive disorders, enlargement of the spleen.

Cardimap lowers hypertension through synergistic effects of Sarpagandha and Jatamasi: Medhya Rasayans Shankhpushpi and Brahmi provide adequate adaptogenesis by their anti-stress properties and pippali in addition to being hepatoprotective helps in better assimilation of other primary ingredients.

Dosage and Direction for use:

1-2 tablets twice a day or as directed by the physician.
Note*: It is suggested that patients suffering form anxiety neurosis, insomnia should not drive vehicles till the effect of cardimap is stabilized. Self-medication is not recommended.
