Spring onion or green leaves onion is very common vegetable available in market. It has different use in different cuisine. It is very common vegetable in chines recipes and used for garnishing. Today I am going to write here very simple recipe for making bhaji of spring onion for home cooking.
Ingredients for Spring onion bhaji
-Spring Onion 250 gm
-Potato 100 gm
-Garlic cloves 4-5 chopped
-Green chillies 3-4 finely chopped
-Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon
-Mustard oil 3-4 table spoon
-Salt to taste
-Wash spring onion in water very carefully and chop them finely(less than 1 cm length).
-Peel potato’s and cut them in cubes.
-Now heat oil in a frying pan
-Make crackle of cumin seeds (jeera)
-Add garlic and chopped chillies and cook for 1 min on low flam.
-Now add chopped spring onion and potato.
-Add salt to you taste and mix well.
-Cook it by putting lid on it.
-Cook till potato gets cooked.
-Spring onion bhaji is ready for serving, serve it with paratha, roti or any main course.
