Recipe: Paneer Tikka in Oven

Ingredients for Paneer Tikka

-500 gm cottage cheese (paneer)

-1 tsp redi chilli powder (Kasmiri mirch)

-1 tsp ajwain seeds

-1 tsp lemon juice

-2 tbsp oil/ghee

– Salt to taste

-4-6 tbsp curd

-1/2 tsp garam masala/black pepper powder

-1 tbl spoon corn starch

-Chaat masala

Method for making Paneer Tikka

-Make cubes of paneer (1 inch X 1/2 inch)

-Add red chilli powder, ajwain, garam masala, salt and corn starch in curd and make fine paste.

-Add paneer cubes in mixture. Rub mixture on cubes and marinate for 1 hr.

-Pre-heat Oven at 200°C

-Wrap aluminum foil on high rack and put paneer cubes on top.

-Grill for 20-30 minutes.(Check in between to avoid burning of paneer).

-Now put tikka in serving plate and sprinkle chaat masala and lemon juice.

-Paneer tikka is ready.
