Karonda is small sized acidic fruit found in India and other countries. This fruit is white and Red in color (like apple). In India people use this fruit to make fried bhaji with green chili, pickle with green chili and other fruit and chutney with mint.
Here i am writing very simple and small recipe for making karonda green chili fried pickle.
Ingredients for pickle
-Karonda 100 gm
-Green Chili 100 gm
-Coriander powder 1 spoon
-Turmeric powder 1 tbl spoon
-Salt to taste
-Mustard oil 5-6 spoon
-Optionally mustard powder
-Wash chili and karonda with water
-Slit green chilies or cut into small pieces
-Cut karonda’s into 2 pieces
-Heat mustard oil in a frying pan
-Add all ingredients and cook them for 3-4 minutes on low-medium flame.
-Put off pan from stove and wait till pickle get cool down.
-Karonda pickle is ready to serve with paratha, daal chawal etc.
-This pickle can be used up to 7-10 days
