Recipe: Cheese Dip North Indian Style

Now days processed cheese consumption in Indian families is increasing. You can find it with many fast food joints menu like pizza, burger, sandwich, cheese dip and many more. Cheese dip is one side dish which can be used with many snacks, breads and event with fruits and vegetables.

For making cheese dip you will find several recipes and all are slightly different, here i am going to write recipe in typical North Indian chutany style.

Cheese Tomato Dip:



  1. 3-4 cheese cubes
  2. 1-2 red tomato (medium sized)
  3. 2-3 green chili
  4. 3-4 peeled garlic cloves
  5. 4-5 soft stem of coriander leaves
  6. 1/4 cup milk optional
  7. Salt to taste
Cheese dip


Wash tomato, chili, coriander leaves, garlic cloves with water carefully. Now add all ingredients but cutting them in small pieces with cheese cubes into a grinder jar and grind finely.

You can also add some small chopped vegetables like spring onion, capsicum for dressing before serving.

Cheese dip is ready, serve with pakora, samosa or any other snacks. You can try it once.

Note: You can use cheese of your own taste.



Cheese Olive Dip:



  1. 3-4 cheese slice
  2. 1/2 cup milk
  3. 1-2 spoon sliced olive
  4. 1 pinch seasoning
  5. 1/2 small spoon corn flour ( starch )
  6. Salt to taste


You can make this dip in Microwave or on stove.

For microwave mix all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and microwave it for 1 min.(Use  some big size bowl so dip will not overflow while it will boiling). After one minute mix with spoon and microwave for another 1 minute.

For stove cooking, boil all ingredients in small bowl and boil all ingredients for 2 minutes and keep stirring to avoid burning of mixture in bottom.

Now put cheese dip in refrigerator and Cheese dip is ready for serving as side dish.
