Raita is prepared from curd or dahi. In plain curd other ingredients are added to get a particular raita. Bondi raita is prepared using boondi which are tiny besan balls fried in oil. Readymade boondi are available in market.
Recipe of Boondi raita
- Whisk curd (1 cup) and add rock salt, red chilli powder, and roasted jeera powder in it as per taste.
- If curd is of thick consistency then add water.
- Add boondi (1/2 cup) and mix well.
- This is boondi raita. You can also add chopped onions, chopped green dhania in it.
