Amla or Indian gooseberry Chutney Recipes

We all know amla is richest source of natural vitamin C. Since it is natural so get assimilated in body easily. Vitamin C is an anti- oxidant and improves body immunity which gives protection from various diseases. In Ayurveda it is said regular intake of amla prevents diseases and gives longevity. It nourishes body amla-himalayaand helps in cells generation. It is very good for our heart, skin, hair and sensory organs. No doubt it is very healthy but I bet you cannot eat 2-3 raw amla at a time. Fresh amlas are best to eat as these are without any processing or preservatives. Here is given recipe of Amla chutney which is tasty and you can eat this with your meals.

Here is recipe of Amla chutney with Coriander

Ingredients

Amla (5), coriander leaves (1 cup), fresh coconut (optional), Garlic cloves (7-8), Chilies (1-2), salt as per taste

Process to make chutney

  • Clean and wash amla, coriander leaves carefully to remove dirt and soil.
  • Then cut both in small pieces. Deseed all amla.
  • Put all ingredients with water in grinder. Blend to make smooth paste.
  • This is freshly prepared chutney which can be enjoyed with rice or roti.

Here is recipe of Amla chutney with Onion

Ingredients

  • Amla (5), Onion (1), Mint leaves, green chillies, Salt as per taste

Process to make chutney

  • Cut and deseed amla. Peel and cut onion.
  • Put all ingredients with water in grinder. Blend to make smooth paste.
  • This is freshly prepared chutney garnish it with mint leaves.
