Moringa pods(Drumstick) are also very nutritious but less than it leaves. Fresh drumsticks are full of minerals, protein, vitamins and dietary fibre. These pods are used a vegetable in India, Africa and many Asian countries by making curry, soups and many other dishes.
These pods are green colour and 30 to 50 cm long. Mature pod have strong fibre just inside outer skin of pods and never swallowed.

These pods can be eaten as vegetable till it is raw and green. Young pods are very soft and can be eaten completely by making curries, pickles and mature pod are used for making soups and thin curried.
In India drumsticks are used in Sambhar and curries in all states of India.
