  1. Wheat flour (Atta) - 4 cups
  2. Fenugreek leaves ( Methi )[finely chopped] - 2 cups
  3. Roasted Cumin seeds powder(jeera powder) ½ tbsp
  4. Green chilies (chopped) - 3
  5. Red chili powder  ½ tbsp
  6. Salt  as per taste
  7. Ghee  for frying

First wash methi leaves properly under running water to remove all dust and soil. Then select soft leaves and finely chop them. Mix salt in it and leave for few mins so that it leaves out water. It is done to make kneading easier because if you mix salt, leaves and atta (flour)together than you may not able to judge how much water need to be added as leaves starts leaving water when mixed with salt and you will find it tough to make a dough.
Now take the leaves and its water and mix it with flour along with chopped chilies, roasted jeera powder, chilly powder. Knead well to form soft dough.
Now make small balls from the dough and roll it with rolling pin like roti or chapatti.
Put the tawa on stove and make sure it is hot when you put paratha on it. Apply ghee on both sides and fry till paratha get ready.
