Sharbat Banafsha

Sharbat Banafsha or Gul Banafsha Sharbat is sweet herbal preparation of Banafashaa or Viola odorata (Family Violaceae). Banafashaa has expectorant, antiinflammatory, diaphoretic, antipyretic, and diuretic activities. It is indicated in treatment of catarrh, cough and cold.

Viola odorata, Citrus bergamia, Saccharum officinarum, Preservatives

Uses of Sharbat Banafsha

  • Catarrh, cold, cough
  • Nazla, Zukham, Khasi
  • Fever, headache and pain
  • Soreness of throat
  • Acute thirst
  • Weakness post fever

Dosage of Sharbat Banafsha

20-40 ml with water, twice a day or as directed by the physician.
