Ashwa kanchuki ras Benefits, Ingredients, Dosage

Ashwakanchuki rasa is herbomineral Ayurvedic medicine useful in various diseases such as pain in body, cough, bronchitis, fever, headaches, post-delivery health problems etc. This medicine should be taken with different anupan to treat different diseases. Ashwakanchuki rasa is also known as Ashwacholi, Ghodacholi etc. This medicine is useful in fever, respiratory illness, enlargement of liver, spleen due to aggravated kapha inside body. In case, diseases are due to Pitta dosha the medicine causes more harm than benefit. 

Ingredients of Ashwakanchuki ras

Shuddh Parad, Shuddh Gandhak, Shudh Vatsanabh, Sunthi, Kali mirch, Pippali, Harad, Amla, Baheda, Shuddh Haratal in eqaul amount, Bhavana dravya Juice extract of Bhringaraj

Uses of Ashwa kanchuki ras

  • Vaatshul or pain
  • Cough, asthma, bronchitis, respiratory illness
  • Wrinkles, hair greying
  • Indigestion, Diarrhoea, infertility
  • Headache, migraine, Fever

Dosage of Ashwa kanchuki ras

1-2 tablets twice a day or as directed by physician.

This medicine should be taken with different anupan depending on disease. For treating vaat shool, cough, and respiratory illness with ginger juice or radish juice, for treating indigestion with buttermilk, for treating anaemia punarnava juice, for infertility with Putrajeevak ras, for headaches with Jaiphal powder etc.
