Types of Kidney Stones

As kidney stones are formed with different chemical compound in urine it is very important to know these compounds to prevent formation of kidney stones.

Basically there are four types of kidney stones

- Calcium(Oxalate)

The most common type of stone containing calcium(Oxalate). Reason for developing this stone is calcium is required part of healthy diet as used to form bones. Extra calcium is passed through urine after filtering by kidney. But in some people this extra calcium is not flushes through urine and forms stones. This most common combination is known by calcium oxalate.

- Struvite

These types of stones are formed after infection in urinary tract system. These types of stones are formed by magnesium and other waste compound product of ammonia.

- Uric acid

These type of stones formed when some urine contains much acid, All non vegetarian foods are producing too much acid you have history of Uric Acid stone then you should cut on meat diet.

- Cystine

These type of stones are very rare. Cystine is one of the building blocks that make up muscles, nerves, and other parts of the body. Cystine can build up in the urine to form a stone. The disease that causes cystine stones in family history.
